行政院發言人童振源23日上午證實，行政院長林全22日晚間已經核定華航新任董事長人選，由原桃園捷運董事長何煖軒接任。

華航空服員取得罷工權後，引發各界關注華航董事長和總經理人事問題。交通部長賀陳旦呼籲勞資雙方各讓一步，讓問題早日落幕；何煖軒上任後第一難關勢必就是如何與空服員取得妥協，化解可能到來的罷工危機。

何煖軒出身警界，早年擔任台北市前議長張建邦隨扈，受到提拔，張建邦轉任交通部長後，他也轉任交通部相關業務。但曾因桃園捷運案與前交通部長林陵三一併遭到監察院彈劾。
